As I've furthered my education on the physiology of the skin, I've discovered that treating the skin on my body with the same care and attention to ingredients as I do the skin on my face has been key.

I don't use formulas that contain surfactants (foaming agents) on my face so why would I use them on my body? I've left typical body washes and synthetic soaps behind and each winter my skin thanks me for it.

It's good to note that this cleansing wash won't lather up in a way that you are used to, if you still use synthetic soaps. There is a little bit of lather but not a lot - that doesn't mean you aren't getting clean. Also, the texture is a bit chunky so be prepared for that - aaaand it smells like the ocean. But still one of my favourite body cleansers!
